Our Forest Mix is our most popular potting mix, carefully crafted from premium ingredients to provide the perfect environment for your plants to thrive. It's made from fresh New Zealand Pinus Radiata Bark, blended with Mediterranean pumice for optimal structure, porosity, and water/nutrient retention.

Key Features:

1. Beneficial Microbes: Inoculated with beneficial microbes to enhance soil health.

2. Essential Organic Ingredients: Includes Kelp, Seaweed Extract, Humates, and a full spectrum of Plant Amino and Fulvic Acids to promote healthy growth and increase resistance to pests and diseases.

3,. Zeolite & Biochar: Zeolite is added to filter impurities, while micronised Biochar  helps prevent nutrient leaching and maintains water retention.

4. Aeration: Includes high-quality, crush-resistant perlite, scoria, which help improve aeration, moisture retention, and nutrient absorption for optimal root growth.

Versions:

BASE Version: This version shares all the same essential ingredients as the OG and UC, but the primary difference is the size of the granules. The BASE version is formulated with finer granules, ideal for gardeners who prefer a smoother texture.

Original (OG) and Ultra Chunky (UC): These versions offer larger granules, providing different textures and structures to suit various plant preferences and growing conditions.

PRO Version

Features:

Organic Mechanical Pesticide: Diatomite in the PRO version acts as an organic mechanical pesticide, preventing pests by damaging their exoskeletons without the use of chemicals.

Biochar:

This version is further enhanced with pelletised Biochar to improve soil structure, filter impurities, and retain water and nutrients more effectively.

Fertilizer Boost:

The PRO version includes 60 days of fertilizer to support vigorous plant growth and a strong start.

NOTE:

During production, the bark will naturally take on some white powdery substance from inert ingredients we blend it with, which contains active beneficial microbes and fine granules of biochar. They may settle at the bottom/back of the product packaging. This doesn’t affect the quality of the product but they’re an important part of why our formula is effective for plants.
